Here's some good news from the Chancery

Yesterday, "religious" leaders who trump the Bible with the idea that Massachusetts has legalized adultery used the media to intimidate Catholics into silence on the issue.

"MULTIFAITH COALITION TARGETS O'MALLEY"

"We respect the Roman Catholic Church's desire to speak in a public forum about this, but it has come to a point where their advocacy about same-sex marriage has come to impinge on our own religious practices, because not everyone believes same-sex marriage is wrong or sinful or against religious beliefs,"

Suddenly, homosexual adultery is a religious ritual.

What happens when the Roman Catholic Church seeks to create public policy based on their religious beliefs is that they negate other religious beliefs that might be contrary to that," Steinwert said

Try this out:

What happens when homosexuals seeks to create public policy based on their religious beliefs is that they negate other Roman Catholic beliefs that might be contrary to that," Steinwert said

That's our whole argument.

Today, the Cardinal along with others moseyed on up to the State House and did exactly the opposite of what they hoped to accomplish.

Cardinal Sean O'Malley said, "Marriage is the foundation of family life in our society. People of many faiths and from many walks of life have joined us to support marriage as being only the union between one man and one woman. The debate over the meaning of marriage should not be limited to government officials. The magnitude of the issue calls for full participation by the citizens of the Commonwealth. We urge our legislators to let the people exercise their right to vote."

BRAVO.
