On behalf of the committee I am very pleased that Jim emerged as the Cardinal's selection,
"After a lifetime of work in the banking industry, I welcome this chance to make a difference",
IT'S DADDY WARBUCKS!!
News, right out of the starting gate, is exactly what we'd expect in orthodoxy, welcoming the catechism and making anything difference in the drivel we've been getting for the last 20 years.
I know the other candidate, a prolifer, a good man, quite active, but unfortunately a good old boy enabler of Sean's. I'm sure he naively thought if only he would step up to the plate, Sean would surely pick him... and orthodoxy would replace the antiCatholic agenda of the rest of Sean's "cabinet".
On a similar note, what do you suppose the hold up is in the Vatican naming the Bishops?
