Editorial in the Herald regarding the Buffer Zone:

The Buffer zone

Letter to Editor:

Subject: Letter to Editor

The wisdom in the editorial of January, 2, 2006 (No call to expand clinic buffer zone) that Jarrett Barrios and abortion rights activists in frantic pursuit of disaffecting and removing choices from women are in danger of "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" was quite prophetic.

Prolifers are currently organizing an effort to have legislation introduced that will seek removal of the “buffer zone”.

The “danger” of a victorious outcome lies in photographic and videographic evidence of anti-choice/anti-Christian protesters taken from in front of (and in fact inside) of Roman Catholic and Christian Churches. Though the press refused to report it, the Attorney General refused to protect us, we brought our own cameras. They show anti-choice and anti-Christian protesters who are allowed to form a gauntlet all the way up to the front doors using violent conduct to intimidate worshipers.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to bring our evidence demonstrating the actual dissolution of Constitutionally protected “buffer zones”.

How can we lose with a paper trail which includes Carl Sciortino helping to organize an effort for a group of homosexual and lesbian couples to disrupt the Holy Sacrifice of the Roman Catholic Mass by standing up and performing sexually intimate acts in front of our children?
