A few more things on the Catholic Charities fiasco...and the story in the Boston Globe today...

Somebody called to tell me that the Pilot is reporting that Bryan Hehir is on "the Committee"...

Does anyone in their right mind think we need four Bishops and a Committee to figure out what to do about the little problem we have over at Catholic Charities?

The four Bishops hold a meeting - they make the decision, they notify everyone that the scam is over. Shortly thereafter, Catholic Charities will get several letters from the State telling them their Grants are revoked.

The End.

While I'd like to believe they're going to stack the Committee & they have Hehir on it to play Rope a Dope....

The Rev. J. Bryan Hehir, president of Catholic Charities in Boston, had said his agency had to comply with state regulations that prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.

This is an out and out lie.

Nobody from the State is forcing anybody to disobey the tenets of our faith. He's twisting it all up.

I've said this before - and I'll say it again - - would he get away with that excuse if was caught performing gay marriages?

Of course not.

He's scamming.

The next few weeks - we're going to shaking up the fishbowl. We've got the magnifying glasses and we're on a stampede to Lake Street.

Everyone in the truth knows "who" is in the truth - and there is no reason whatsoever to put anyone on that "Committee" who doesn't have a track record for prolife and working on the marriage issue for these past five years...proactive.

The "Committees" were assembled long before Trent. We know the rules. Have an admin pull the proper Canons, photocopy the related articles in the Catechism - Invite the Attorney General - have a Constitutional Lawyer there to quote the prohibition of the Government to interfere with the free exercise of religion and hand him a copy of Everson v. Board of Education, (1947) - and tell them all to scram.

Everyone will be home in time for supper.

Incidently - I didn't point out this quote this morning...

Peter Meade, board chairman of Catholic Charities, did not have any comment yesterday on the committee, saying he wanted to speak first to his entire board.

Hopefully - it's a resignation.

All of this isn't happenstance.

A lot of work, a lot of phone calls, a lot of emails, a lot of letters, a lot of networking...a lot of fighting evil in hand to hand combat went into this initiative to get the Bishops to make it look like they are doing something.

Kudos to one and all...

A few more incidents like this....them hijacking their leadership positions to open up their schismatic mouths and make schismatic statements under the Crucifix - - and "us" reacting to it...and the Bishops hands being forced to make a move - - sooner or later the schismatics are going to realize they best be keeping their mouths shut - because it's backfiring.
