Following the e-mail, five Cuenin supporters from a group called Our Lady's Friends met with Cuenin.
Dan Foley, a spokesman for the group, said parishioners now plan to focus more on keeping their parish vibrant. But he said they would continue to fight for Cuenin to be reinstated, either at Our Lady's or another parish.
"The e-mail may look more like 'Stop what you're doing,'" Foley said. "But the discussion was more about trying to reverse some of the damage the archdiocese did to our parish."
Me thinks, if they are smart - they won't put Cuenin any other capacity except sitting by the phone waiting for an "emergency" on the "emergency response team" if they know what's good for all concerned.
